OMG! SERIOUSLY! If you are taking a class that requires this book DROP THE CLASS. I AM NOT KIDDING. In all my years in University classes, this was the worst book I have EVER been subjected to. Trust me. I wish I had trusted the other reviews.
Great book!
This book was purchased for a senior course. It is just all quotes and hard to follow. After each chapter, it has 7-10 pages of references .
This book was terrible. I purchased it as a required text for a graduate class and found it nearly impossible to get through it. Every line was a quote or a quote of a quote with little or no original information or explanation by the author. Every sentence referred to other citations. If you're going to write a text.....how about inserting your expertise!

It is a collection of quoted material. Badly written and very boring. Not college level. I would not recommend this book.
